About This Tour
The Tatshenshini — 'the river with the taste of the mountains' — runs wild between Alaska and Canada, past calving glaciers and through valleys patrolled by bears, moose and bald eagles.
Our Coast Guard-licensed guides row the heavy water while you watch the wilderness go by. Nights are riverside camps with hot meals, sauna tents, and silence you can hear.

Tour FAQs
Is rafting experience needed?
None. You ride as a passenger while guides row; rapids peak at a splashy Class III.
Will we see bears?
Very likely — the Tat is prime brown-bear country and guides know every fishing hole.
What about the cold water?
You wear expedition drysuits over warm layers and stay completely dry. The sauna helps too.
